FAQs

Do you currently work with international individuals and businesses?
Yes. There is a very strong chance that we work with clients in your area that you may know or have heard of. Our client base extends throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, South America and Australia. References available upon request.

What types of investments do you provide?
The past few years have offered many types of complex investment vehicles that are hard to understand and have proven unreliable. We like to keep things as simple and effective as possible. We primarily work with publicly traded stocks/ ETFs and commodities in stock form that trade a minimum of 250,000 shares per day. The stocks that we recommend are highly liquid and trade on the major US exchanges. We also trade options (spread betting) for capital appreciation and hedging. Additionally, have access to any and all types of publicly traded securities if a client desires.

Do you sell stocks short?
Yes. It is our firm belief that to achieve investment success, one must be ambidextrous in the market. Stocks go down just as often as they go up. Exploiting “broken” companies and sectors is crucial to success.

How are my assets protected?
SIPC provides protection of up to $500,000, including a maximum of $100,000 for cash balances. Legent Clearing’s policy through Lloyd’s of London provides additional account coverage of up to $24.5 million (including up to $900,000 cash) per client as defined by SIPC rules. With SIPC and Lloyd’s of London coverage, Legent Clearing accounts are protected up to a total of $25 million per client (as defined by SIPC rules) and up to $1 million for cash balances. Penson Financial Services, Inc. has also acquired additional coverage from a third party insurer to protect client accounts up to their net equity for loss of securities and cash held at Penson Financial Services, Inc., up to an overall firm aggregate of US $200,000,000 over all customer accounts. This additional coverage protection is in addition to the protection provided by the Securities and Investors Protection Act, which is administered by SIPC and is subject to certain conditions and limitations, details of which are available upon request. Coverage as described above does not protect against loss of the market value of securities and SIPC does not guarantee the future value of any security.

Why should I invest in the US market?
The US stock market is the largest, most liquid market in the world. The greatest, largest, and most coveted companies trade on the US exchanges. The US market offers the greatest opportunity for capital appreciation.

How can I monitor my account?
Each client has access to their accounts via internet technology. Clients are able to monitor their positions as well as account balances 24 hours a day. Clients also receive trade confirmations with any activity in their accounts as well as quarterly statements via post.
